You've come a Long way, baby

Now that it's January, No. 2 will be here next month.

My due date is February 25, but because Larkin came 3-and-a-half weeks early I wouldn't be surprised if her little sister made an appearance anytime during the month.

So that gives me the rest of January to get ready. Well, as ready as I can possibly be.

Once the house add-on is complete, getting prepared will be logistically more possible.

Also, I'm making an effort to really savor my last couple of months of being pregnant.

After finding out so late in my first trimester and being so busy with Larkin, this pregnancy has flown by - and while I'm excited for No. 2 to get here I am a little sad that it's almost over.

After all, this is it for us. We're not planning to have a No. 3.

The best thing about this pregnancy as compared to my first pregnancy is that I'm not a basketcase.

When I was pregnant with Larkin I remember having so much anxiety about being a good mommy.

Now I've been a mom for nearly 17 months, and I have much more confidence than I did the first time around.

Of course having 2 will be more challenging, but I know I'll figure out how to be a good mommy to both of my girls and it will be wonderful.
