Today Larkin is 4 months old!
This month Larkin is still working on rolling over from front to back and from her front onto her side.
She has strong legs and enjoys standing up on our laps while we hold under her arms. Between that and sitting in her Bumbo seat, she is strengthening her core muscles that will enable her to sit up on her own.
Larkin's gummy smile is a favorite sight, especially when she crinkles her eyes and nose, too. She has even laughed out loud a couple of times.
Now that I'm back at work, our weekly schedule this past month has looked like this:
- Mondays at Grandma and Grandpa's house
- Sadie in town Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (and the week she wasn't able to come in town Matt's aunt Nana did)
- Fridays I have off
Larkin slept through the night 3 times this month, which was exciting when it happened but really was a bit of a tease.
She has gotten better at napping in her crib and takes 3-4 naps a day. Bedtime is at 7 p.m., and we do a late-night bottle feeding around 10:30 or 11 p.m. Lately she tends to wake up hungry only once around 3:30 or 4:30 a.m. before waking up for good around 6 or 6:30 a.m.
Here is the monthly photo of Larkin with Pooh and Racky:
And some other photos from throughout the month:
