Today Larkin and Layne left to spend the rest of their trip in McKinney with Sadie and Poppi and their aunts, uncles and cousins. Before they left, we jammed in a little more fun while I packed the car. Larkin and Layne played pretend school with their babies and shared a yummy snack of Goldfish crackers. Who knew eating crackers could keep their attention for so long! Larkin showed Layne how to wrap all the crackers in her baby’s blanket. They moved all the crackers from the table to the floor and back to the table again. Then Larkin hid all her crackers inside her pockets. Sadie later told me that Larkin shared her crackers with her cousin, Abby.
Our last activity of the week was washing Mommy’s car. Larkin loved making bubbles in the bucket, wiping down the car and spraying the hose. Too bad she didn’t quite realize the direction the hose was facing. This was not Layne’s favorite activity…
Larkin gave her sister a sweet apology. We had a really fun vacation together. I can’t wait to have them again. Just remind me to get lots of rest beforehand. I love you Larkin and Layne. Love, Aunt Stephie
