Last night/this morning/in the wee hours of New Year's Eve someone's Twitter post really resonated with me:
"May the best of your past be the worst of your future."
In 2010 I kept busy juggling adjusting to life with two little ones and striving to be a good mom, wife, friend and employee.
The year's highs centered on the amazement - and entertainment - of watching Larkin and Layne grow and develop, and the year's lows were Sadie's breast cancer diagnosis and saying goodbye to our beloved Joey.
2010 will always be one of my most important years, because it introduced Layne to our lives. It was a great year, no question. But I am super-excited to see what 2011 has in store.
