You've come a Long way, baby

Tonight Larkin and Layne looked cute in their jammies, and Matt wanted a picture of him with both girls.

Larkin was too busy playing with Layne's swing, but Layne was happy to comply.



We tried to coax Larkin to join the picture by including big Minnie and little Minnie.

Didn't work.



So we thought that putting Larkin's hat on Minnie might entice her to join the picture.

Nope.



Then we had the idea to put Larkin's hat on Layne. Surely that would make Larkin want to join the picture.

Of course not.



What finally convinced Larkin to join the picture? Giving her the option of taking a picture with Daddy, Layne, the Minnies and her hat...or going night-night.

After a little more silliness...



...it worked!



I just love my girls to pieces.
