You've come a Long way, baby

Today is Layne's 2-month birthday.

She is such a good-natured baby, hardly ever fussy - and we absolutely love her beautiful smile. Today Matt even made her laugh!

I won't know for sure until we weigh her at next week's 2-month doctor appointment, but I think Layne is bigger than Larkin was at this age. She has already grown out of her newborn-size onesies and is wearing some 0-3 clothes, although the newborn-size pants still fit fine.

Layne is sleeping pretty consistently from around 8:30 p.m. to anywhere between 1:30 and 3:30 a.m., then again until sometime between 6 and 7 a.m., and then sometimes again until 9 a.m. That means that I am getting some decent chunks of sleep, too. I hope I didn't just jinx it!

She enjoys sitting in her swing and playing on her playmat, but she still most loves being held and cuddled.
