You've come a Long way, baby

This evening Daddy emailed me this video to see if I'd taught Larkin and Layne this song (fast forward to 1:30). 

I had actually never heard it before, but the girls watched the video and we listened to the song 3 times on the way home from dinner.



Then each of us said what "happiness is" to us. 

I said happiness is snuggling with my girls. 

Larkin said happiness is giving Mommy hugs and kisses, Valentine's Day and Mother's Day. 

Layne said happiness is sleeping with Larkin and having a sleepover. 

During bathtime and for the rest of the night, I kept singing "happiness is...two kinds of ice cream" - so I guess that part of the song really resonated with me, too.
