You've come a Long way, baby

Happy 4th of July! 



Every year, after the 4th has come and gone, I read in our neighborhood newsletter about Allandale's 4th of July parade that I missed yet again. This year, I finally got it together and we went! 

Last night Larkin and I decorated our wagon with American flags and a paper chain. This morning she and Layne dressed up as princesses, and we all set out for the parade. 

At first when we arrived to the gathering spot, there was some of this:

We had fun walking in the parade!
