Pete's Dragon has joined Mary Poppins and Annie as a Long family film favorite.

I have always loved the movie and remember watching it a million times when I was a kid.



Sometimes I sing Candle on the Water to Layne at bedtime. I love that song, I think it's so pretty.

Today when I sang it to her at naptime she sang along. We sounded like this:

Me: I'll be your candle on the water
Layne: Wa-waaaaaaa

Me: This flame inside of me will grow
Layne: Goooooooo

Me: Soon you'll see a golden stream of light
Layne: Liiiiiiiiiiiiight

But when she doesn't want me to sing Candle on the Water, she says "No wa-wa. Annie!"
