One of Larkin's favorite books this week is Where is Baby's Belly Button? - we have read it over and over the past few mornings and evenings.
The best part is that if I ask Larkin where her belly button is, she lifts her shirt and points to it. Or if I ask her where Mommy's belly button is, she points to mine.
So cute.

Another unrelated story to share:
At bedtime I said, "Larkin, it's time for bed. Go tell Joey good night."
So she walked into the living room, waved at Joey and came back to her room for bed.
Such a big girl!
Today when I picked her up from school we held hands and walked out to my car. No carrying her.
Then we stopped at Anthropologie and she took my hand leaving the store and we walked hand-in-hand through the parking lot.
All of a sudden, it seems like she is growing up really fast.
We love that book! Although Jeff calls it baby porn. :) All of Larkin's recent stories blow me away. I can't believe how fast it is all happening.

Riley loves to walk all by herself now too, and when it's time for bed, I say "are you sleepy?", she nods, says her version of yes, and goes to the gate to go upstairs. When did they become little girls?!
