Bluebonnets, bluebonnets, bonnets oh so blue
Your bright eyes are shining in the morning dew
I know you're a dolly, offered for the rain
I know you'll come back again to Texas in the spring
I remember singing this song when I was in elementary school, and thanks to Grandpa reminding me of the lyrics, it's been our theme song this spring.
Both Larkin and Layne can sing along, and whenever we see bluebonnets on the side of the road we break into song.
