Tonight I read Clifford's Opposites (one of Larkin's favorite books) to the girls.
In the book, "Clifford is slow" and "his friend is fast" - and when we got to that page Larkin started running around, clearly showing me she knew what "fast" meant.
I didn't know she understood the difference between fast and slow! It made me realize yet again how much she is learning at her school.
